Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for:

God's Word.

Beth Moore's Bible study that we just finished, Stepping Up. This was a journey God intended for me to take. It was a timely study for me. It fit everything I have been going through. God is amazing to care that much about me and you, that He brings His Word into our lives and accomplishes His Word in our lives.

This was a study about the Psalms of Ascent. These are some of the things I learned and things I am thankful for:
The Lord delivers us from lying lips. (Psalm 120)
The Lord is a shelter and right by my side. (121)
May all who love Jerusalem prosper. (122)
For God's favor (123)
Our help is in the name of the Lord (124)
As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so God surrounds me/us
The Lord does great things for us (126)
Unless the Lord builds a house, we labor over it in vain(127)
Enjoy God's blessings, revel in the goodness. (128)
The enemy has not prevailed over me (130)
He is everything we need (131)
God answers us when we talk to Him (132)
How wonderful it is, how pleasant , when we live in unity (133)
That the Lord is the Maker of heaven and earth. (134)

We were asked to write a blessing to speak over our small group and I thought I would speak the same blessing over you all:
May God's face shine upon you and surround you with His favor. May the glory of God arise on you and as you walk in His Light may each step you take bring you closer to Him. May God burn a passion in your hearts for His Word which will sustain you through the difficult times. May God bless you with an abundance of laughter and cause you to dance again. May God bless you with an unexpected delight that your eyes have not seen, ears heard or mind conceived that will cause you jump up and down . In Jesus wonderful name, I bless you.
