Giving Thanks

Happy TT! Iris is so sweet to host Thankful Thursday each week! If you would like to participate in TT please visit Iris' blog, Sting My Heart and sign up.

For a week now God has impressed a certain someone on my heart to pray for. I am praying for salvation. This person deals with a lot of generational issues. This person deals with a lot of past mistakes. If someone looked at his life they would think he was a lost cause. I have been praying for over ten years for this person.
I say all of this to say I am thankful for salvation. I am thankful that no one is beyond God's reach. I am thankful that all things are possible with God.
I am thankful that God sent His Son to this earth for us. I am thankful that Jesus died for ALL people.
I am thankful that God doesn't want anyone to perish.

Also, I am thankful for early morning quiet times with God. Even though it may take me 15 minutes to truly wake up enough to form a complete sentence and for my eyes to wake up to read the Bible. There is just something sweet about that time of the morning before the rest of the house wakes up.

I am thankful for new beginnings of which I am facing soon. More on that later.

Lastly, Thank you Jesus for the beautiful weather we have had this week. I spent the day outside with my boys and this evening we played a few card games and then we grilled out. It was a great evening.
Have a wonderful Thursday!

Beautiful post. If we are not thankful for our salvation, what is there to be thankful for?
Thanks!

Amen on no one being beyond God's reach. We prayed for over 10 years for my brother's salvation and Praise God it happened! He was invited by a friend from work to Promise Keepers. It was awesome that he said yes to go in the first place and then to be saved! Yahoo Jah!

Thanks so much for sharing. Keep on praying for this person. Don't give up. We've been praying for 30 years for a family member. But I trust God to answer our prayer. This guy can only run for so long. Blessings on your day.
