Last Thursday's Sunset
It has been a great week. Watching God do what only He can do, seeing that He is the God who Bursts through ! The God of breakthroughs! With God all things are possible. Thank you to all who wished my son David a happy birthday, you made him smile!
What I am thankful for this week:
For God's direction. We are beginning a new journey with God and I praise Him for directing our steps in every detail.
For giving my father a great birthday yesterday.
For my mother. She is so funny and she loves to laugh. She has a strong faith and even though she has brain cancer God has placed His gracious hand on her and honors her faith. Her laughter is contagious and she has a hard time trying to remember certain words or gathering her thoughts but she still prays for everyone, specifically and that makes us smile and I know God looks forward to spending time with her every morning!
My Sunday School/Sunday night class. I have such a great time with this group of ladies who are also my close friends. We support each other and pray for each other and laugh, a lot!! When any of us are going through a hard time you can count on the rest of the group to help, encourage and sometimes they offer to go and take care of the situation. Our class has it's own posse. LOL!!
I thank God for being my Defender. My Shield. the Rewarder of my Faith. My Delight. Victory. Saviour. Faithful. Trustworthy. Rock. Redeemer. Friend. Lover of my Soul. Lifter of my Head. King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Most High God. Ever Present Help in Trouble. Refuge from the Storm. Beautiful One. Majestic One.
Thankful that He is our Creator. I praise God for the beauty of Fall. The leaves are beginning to change and it is so beautiful. I praise Him for the sunsets that have been breathtaking.
That God wants to spend time with us. Drawing us to His Word. Teaching us new things about Him. Quiet moments with God. Nothing else compares.

What a beautiful sunset. We are just now getting the beautiful color changes here as well! Amen on the wonder and thankfulness that God wants to spend time with us. It is so awesome.
